Locks in core tracks!

Ohmwork has just wrapped up an intense and highly productive recording session in Tromsø, where the core tracks for their upcoming album have officially fallen into place.

The band spent several focused days in the studio laying down bass, drums, and guitars, and the verdict is unanimous: everything sounds raw, powerful, and exactly where it needs to be. The rhythm section hits hard, the guitars bite, and the foundation of the album is now firmly set.

Following the main tracking sessions, the days after were dedicated to vocals and additional guitar layers, further shaping the sonic identity of the new material and pushing the songs even closer to their final form.

With recording well underway, the next phase is already lined up. Mixing and mastering will take place throughout January, handled by none other than Yngvar Mehus, who also served as studio technician and oversaw the recording sessions. His deep involvement from the start makes him the natural choice to bring the album across the finish line.

As if that wasn’t enough, the band has also caught a first glimpse of the album artwork, with early sketches delivered by Hypnotistdesign. Initial reactions? Absolutely wild. The visuals are shaping up to match the intensity and edge of the music perfectly.

All in all, spirits are high, momentum is strong, and Ohmwork is entering an exciting phase as the album continues to take shape.

Big things are coming. Stay tuned.
