Release 18.09!
On September 18, Ohmwork will release their seventh album, EX NIHILO, available on 180-gram black gatefold vinyl, limited edition coloured vinyl, and digitally across all major streaming platforms.
The album was recorded at Lydproduksjon in Tromsø in January, with Yngvar Mehus serving as recording engineer. Mehus also handled the mixing and mastering, renewing a long-standing collaboration that previously resulted in ShadowTech (2015), Alyssa Drone (2017), and HorrorWorks (2019).
For the visual identity, the band once again enlisted Hypnotist Design, renowned for artwork and design for acts and festivals including Desertfest, Kal-El, Domkraft, and Saint Karloff.

From the driving opener "Resistance" to the nearly ten-minute closing title track "Ex Nihilo," the album delivers a stripped-back, honest, yet diverse and ambitious sound that further expands Ohmwork's foundation in heavy hard rock and metal.
